To make up for my horrible review of Longest Yard, I'll make this one good, but short with no spoilers.
If you can see this movie, see it. I'm told it more than makes up for Spirits Within. I never saw that one, so I don't know. Anyway, the movie is CG, as you probably know, and centers on Cloud and three clones of Sephiroth. Every character from FF VII makes an appearance, and I do mean EVERY. I won't give much more away, if you want to see this let me know, I can try to let you borrow it sometime.

I've seen it, and I can vouch, it is quite the movie. If you are a fan of the game, you will giggle at all of the little inside jokes/throwbacks that make their way into the film. The CG, is, of course, way to pretty to actually exist on this plane.
On a side rant, one thing I have actually had a problem with in anime / CG movies is that it is hard to make the sense of danger real. Perhaps it is just the inherantly logical parts of my brain telling me that I can't be hurt from drawings. Advent Children actually succeeds in delivering action and adventure scenes that seem, well, real. I applaude the creators and directors for that.
The only downside I could see to this is that if you have not played the game, or are not familiar with the Final Fantasy series, you will probably have no idea in hell what is going on half the time.

I will vouch for that, I had one of my good friends say "I have no idea what the little glowing balls are." I had to resist the urge to slap her upside the head and go "They're Materia, you idgit!!" But, she hasn't played the game. Also, agree with the whole danger part.
I'll let you borrow it sometime Jake, just give me some time to find a good time to let you.

I just watched this again, and something just hit me. This is what Matrix Revolutions should have been. Anyway, just a thought.
